Peter Hübner – The Significance of our Consciousness to Medicine

Peter Hübner: Only the great thinkers among the natural scientists have always trodden new paths of scientific discovery – and leaving aside Pythagoras, the founder of our scientific thinking as an early exception 2,500 years ago, then it are especially the more recent and totally new scientists among those famous thinkers, who gradually realised that the aspect of consciousness is the most important decision carrier for all scientific discoveries.

The relative waking state of consciousness only brings forth limited, relative discoveries – every educated scientist will admit this.
It is the same with the relative dream consciousness – only that the information in our dream, presents itself even more chaotically.
And deep sleep, as we know, provides no information at all.
So, if I want cosmic information, which nature typically requires for its discovery, I must move towards the cosmic in my consciousness and thinking – at least if it does not come towards me.

In his school, Pythagoras taught with the help of music and mathematics, how to successfully move towards the cosmic in one’s consciousness and thinking.

This system of teaching was then lost and/or it was violently destroyed, and then later in history various public figures emerged, who, by way of exception, the cosmic had obviously moved towards in their consciousness.

And these great thinkers established phase leaps in scientific thinking and understanding.
I would like to mention here for example the music theorist, mathematician and astronomer Kepler, and especially our modern physicists such as Albert Einstein etc.

They unambiguously referred to a phase leap in their consciousness: to the breaking through of their old limits of consciousness.

And they also said – just as our great classical composers did – that their new findings were given to them by or in a consciousness that was behind their three present states of consciousness. We can take from their statements that – in whatever way –, on the basis of a special mental-emotional disposition or gift, they had broken through the absolute sound barrier of deep sleep more by coincidence, and had reached the fourth state of consciousness at least, if not higher states of consciousness.

With the help of this, they brought with them their new conception of the world, their new findings, their new more comprehensive knowledge, and endeavoured to give their colleagues a correct presentation of their new view.

I have talked about this in more detail on other occasions – when we were dealing with the aspect of revelation.

The fourth main state of consciousness introduces us for the very first time to the phenomenon of the cosmic: the real cosmic beyond the limited material – even if it should concern the whole material cosmos.

It is obvious that with the new scientific findings – especially in physics – mathematics plays a great role and pulls physics and/or its theories away from the material step by step.

Thus, with the help of mathematics, the whole physical conception of the world is gradually dematerialised – this is a process that already announced itself at the beginning of the last century.

So you can almost say that physics is moving towards metaphysics, although – and that is the nice thing about it – metaphysics turns into the part of scientific contemplation.

Pythagoras also set down these developments, when he strove for a scientific integration of natural sciences, humanities, art and religion, and he set the corresponding intellectual course for this in his school.

Through the process of scientifically moulded research and development into consciousness, humanities, arts and religions are finally today becoming measurable in their achievements under the patronage of medicine by objective scientific means – with the help of metaphysics of a scientific character, equipped with the instruments of our modern digital scientific-technical age.

But all this – all these achievements and developments – are systematically-logically bound to the understanding and further development of our consciousness and therefore to our thinking.

The development of a cosmic theory necessarily requires cosmic thinking abilities – this, surely, is plausible.
